Pilot-stage notice
These documents describe Nordtier’s current pilot-stage service. They should be reviewed and updated as Nordtier’s legal entity and operating structure are formalised.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to information submitted through Nordtier when you register, create or use a company readiness profile, complete an assessment, generate reports, reset a password, or contact Nordtier by email.
2. Operator and contact
Nordtier is operated as a pilot-stage readiness platform. Formal legal entity details (registered company name, address, and registration numbers) will be published when available. They are not invented on this page.
For privacy-related questions, contact contact@nordtier.com. This address is a general contact channel and is not presented as a formal Data Protection Officer designation.
3. What Nordtier is
Nordtier is a Defence Supplier Readiness Management Platform designed for manufacturing SMEs preparing for defence-related supply chains.
Nordtier provides a structured Free Defence Supplier Readiness Assessment and, through the Nordtier Pilot Programme, a separate Readiness Improvement Plan with deeper supplier-development guidance.
4. Information we process
Depending on how you use the platform, Nordtier may process:
- Account registration information such as name, work email, and password credentials
- Company profile information you provide
- Assessment responses and related readiness inputs
- Generated readiness outputs, including scores, domain results, and reports
- Technical information needed for authentication, session management, and password reset
- Information you choose to include in emails sent to contact@nordtier.com
5. How information is used
- Company accounts. Nordtier is organised around authenticated company accounts. Assessment responses and generated reports are intended for use within your organisation’s company account.
- Intended purpose. Company information submitted through the platform is used to provide readiness assessment, scoring, reporting, account administration, and related platform functionality.
- No advertising use. Nordtier does not use company information for advertising and does not sell personal data.
- Account access. Access to company readiness information depends on authentication. Users should protect their credentials and only share account access within their organisation as appropriate.
- Enquiries. Information sent to contact@nordtier.com is used to respond to your enquiry and related follow-up.
6. What we do not do
Nordtier does not use company information for advertising and does not sell personal data. Nordtier is not presented as a marketplace that sells readiness information to defence primes or third-party buyers.
7. Service providers
Nordtier relies on infrastructure providers to operate authentication, hosting, and related application services. This page does not publish a specific hosting region, hosting provider list, or certification claim.
8. Retention
Information associated with your company account is retained for as long as needed to provide the platform and maintain your readiness records, or as otherwise required by applicable law. Fixed retention periods are not stated here because they have not been finalised for publication.
9. Organisation-controlled information
Assessment responses and generated reports are intended for your organisation’s internal use within its authenticated company account. Users within an organisation should manage access carefully.
10. Important limitations
Nordtier readiness score is an internal assessment indicator. It does not represent certification, accreditation, qualification, or acceptance as a defence supplier.
Nordtier does not provide legal, regulatory, or export-control advice.
11. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Nordtier’s legal entity, operating structure, or platform functionality develops. Updated versions will be posted on this page.
