Nordtier communicates credibility through clear methodology, honest product boundaries, and responsible handling of company information—not through unverified security theatre.
Structured methodology
Nordtier evaluates readiness across six defined capability domains:
- Quality Readiness
- Manufacturing & Delivery Readiness
- Documentation & Traceability Readiness
- Security & Information Readiness
- Compliance Readiness
- Supply Chain & Business Resilience
These domains reflect capability areas that may be relevant when preparing for defence supply chains. Exact expectations can vary by customer, programme, and supply-chain role. The framework is not presented as a universal defence standard.
Transparent scope
The Free Assessment provides an internal readiness baseline. It is not a complete evaluation of every aspect of a company, and it does not replace customer audits or formal qualification processes.
Rules-based product packaging
The Free Assessment and the Readiness Improvement Plan are structured from the same assessment baseline. The Improvement Plan adds deeper interpretation and development guidance. It is a separate product currently available through the Nordtier Pilot Programme and is not automatically included with every Free Assessment completion.
Professional reporting
The platform provides structured Assessment Reports and, for participating Pilot Programme organisations, Improvement Plan reports. Outputs are designed for internal leadership review and readiness planning.
Clear limitations
Nordtier readiness score is an internal assessment indicator. It does not represent certification, accreditation, qualification, or acceptance as a defence supplier.
Nordtier does not certify, accredit, qualify, approve, or guarantee acceptance of companies into defence supply chains. Nordtier does not provide legal or export-control advice.
Privacy principles
- Company accounts. Nordtier is organised around authenticated company accounts. Assessment responses and generated reports are intended for use within your organisation’s company account.
- Intended purpose. Company information submitted through the platform is used to provide readiness assessment, scoring, reporting, account administration, and related platform functionality.
- No advertising use. Nordtier does not use company information for advertising and does not sell personal data.
- Account access. Access to company readiness information depends on authentication. Users should protect their credentials and only share account access within their organisation as appropriate.
